This song might be a bit older, as old as Pull Up. This iPhone recording was hard to find because this beat is 100% different than what is on the final product. This version is a little more uptempo and upbeat.
ALBUM ARTWORK CONCEPT
'Cognac & Roses' as an album concept was thought of back in 2012-2014. In 2015, I made 'Respect Your Growth' and this was always going to be the follow up. Life became a rollercoaster much more than usual and I didn't think any of my material was good enough.
These pieces are draft ideas of potential covers for the album. These were just concepts and are from 2015! It's crazy how the vision stayed the same but evolved into what we have today. The last one was an reference idea. I was going to frame a similar image but with the being the result of me pouring out a bottle of Hennessey and a bouquet of roses in my other hand with petals falling into the puddle.
